For the past few years, the Inland Empire in Riverside County has been one of the fastest growing counties in the state - home to a major housing boom. But now the Inland Empire is pretty much the poster child for the foreclosure crisis. In the newer developments, house after house sits vacant - either up for auction, for sale by a bank or going for what’s called a “short sale” which is when the owner owes more than the house is worth.

My email exchange with Joe Zekass regarding being banned from his new site Chicago Real Estate Experts:

Well, you waited too long to respond. You're history on that site and I have no intention of unbanning you.
If you want to take a new shot at this, sign up for NewHomeNotebook.net.
Don't use the user name George Costanza or anything equally misleading. Don't use any copyrighted pics. Don't take cheap shots at other members. In brief, try to be something other than what you've been so far.
I'm trying to work with you, but I need some cooperation.

I responded as soon as I opened my email this AM. I'm rarely on email at night.
You say you're trying to work with me but you don't require nearly the same from other people on your sites. I've had people use profanity against me on YO but they weren't disciplined. You rip me for being an anonymous commenter but there are many who don't use their real name who you don't refer to as anonymous (Irish Pirate for one, whom also takes cheap shots at people).
What I've been up to this point is the loyal opposition. Sometimes wrong on my opinions and assessments, many times right (whether you choose to admit it or not). If you want to hold me to certain standards that's fine but hold but hold everyone else to those same standards and be just as verbally demeaning to them as you are to me. Otherwise you risk becoming, and already have become to some, nothing more than a mouthpiece for an industry in distress.

I won't get into a debate with you. A "loyal opposition" would contribute ideas rather than repetitive snark - and would be welcomed. Contribute some information and you'll be fine.
Set up an account at NewHomeNotebook.net - which is likely to have more traffic than ChicagoRealEsateExperts.com where you've been banned.

Get over yourself Joe. Talk about being repetitive. You keep repeating the same old tired crap about me. I have offered sound opinion back up by links to experts like Dean Baker, Robert Shiller etc. Keep believing I've offered nothing if that helps you sleep at night but you know that isn't the truth. Positive opinions regarding the state of RE are almost never challenged by you, negative opins rarely go unchallenged. That is the truth and you know it.
I can't even quote an article that you linked to without getting bashed. The summary of that article was one sided and the quote that I pasted offered the balance that was seen in the article but missing in YO's "summary" of it. That was a legitimate idea that I offered that wasn't taken kindly to by you.

Negative opinions from know-nothings are challenged.
Who the hell cares what an anonymous person with no authority thinks? It's a pure time-waster and not what our site is about.
Get over yourself. It's my site and it's about new homes for sale, not about market conditions.
We link to 100s of negative articles every month on our Chicago Real Estate News page. Anyone who wants to learen about the state of the market can get it everywhere.

Once again, anonymous people post all the time and go unchallenged and their anonymity is never called in question. Those are the people who agree with you. Your defense is paper thin. If you don't like anonymity then hold everyone to that same standard. You won't because that not your problem with commentors. Your problem with them is that they are bad mouthing your meal ticket.
